The logistics sector in our country is still relatively young, but has seen considerable development in recent years, and Türkiye is seen by many authorities as having the potential to operate as an ideal logistics hub due to its advantageous location between the Middle East, the Turkic Republics and Europe. Technological developments have brought many innovations to logistics management, as is the case in every field. Logistics management, relating to the storage, planning, implementation and control operations, takes a product or service from its starting point in the supply chain to its final destination, to the point at which it is consumed, has found new application areas with technological advances. Today, national and international businesses can become competitive through the optimization of their logistics services, bringing success to production and distribution as an important interface of these two concepts.
